frantic gallery would do anything to attract attention to decent contemporary art: see it closer, perceive it in vaster perspective and recognize its value with sharper gaze.
If it is necessary, we would even provide spectacles, amplifier glasses and other observational tools… to make Japanese Contemporary Art look a little bit more distinct.
The idea is simply territorial: not to limit frantic gallery by its physical place, but to be able to present its thinking in any space that shares frantic point of view on art. Thus, several representative art works of frantic artist exhibited in blinc vase is a Close Up on based in Nihonbashi frantic gallery you can experience in Omotesadno.
The idea is interdisciplinary: to generate the rotation between art lovers and other audience, which is in love with contemporary art, but don’t know about it yet. It is an attempt to accelerate the exchange between artists, designers, collectors, fashion journalists, art critics, harajuku girls and others. It is a Close Up on art issues unexpectedly met while shopping in Omotesando.
The idea is provocative: to push Kentaro Isotani (sculptor who works mainly with mud, polyurethane and garbage, playing with the images of bustard, alcoholic and punk) into sublimed spectacles shop, whose main visitors might be delicate highbrows popped in the shop to pick up the last edition of perfectly transparent lenses in ultra light rim.
The idea is, finally, just ironical: to manifest the last step of despair facing ignorance to contemporary art by bringing attention literally amplifying art with the help of the glasses. Oh, by any means we want to make art noticeable!
